Speakers
Antje Sorensen is Deputy Secretary General and Legal Counsel of a legal adviser at the International Publishers
Association (IPA), the federation of national publishers associations representing publishers an organization that unifies publishers from all over the world.
Nerses Ter-Vardanyan is Adviser to the Minister of Culture of Armenia.
Richard Balkwill is an independent copyright consultant contracted by IPA, focusing on advice and training about copyright, rights, licensing and digital issues (including digital rights management) for publishing companies around the world. He is also associate consultant to Oxford Brookes University; visiting publishing law tutor at City University; and external examiner (MA) at the London College of Communication.
Shushan Mkhitaryan is Chief Specialist of Copyright and Related Rights Department of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. She is also a member of the Operational Working Group of the TWINNING Project "Strengthening the Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in Armenia" and a contact person (coordinator) of the project.
Sonya Vardanyan is Head of Copyright and Related Rights Department of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia
Vahan Khachatryan is founder and executive director of the National Publishers Association of Armenia.
Yana Genova is director of Next Page Foundation in Sofia and manager of the Book Platform project, which assists the book sectors in Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine.
